iTrixx-LHM Heavy Equipment Hour Meter

LoRa-Enabled Wireless Hour Meter for Industrial Equipment

The iTrixx-LHM is a LoRa-enabled Hour Meter System provides a powerful, wireless solution for facilities with mobile and stationary equipment spread across large areas. Built on LoRa (Long Range) wireless technology, this system eliminates the challenges of tracking equipment that moves throughout your facility or operates in locations where WiFi or network access is unavailable. Monitor multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously from a single central server, integrate seamlessly with your CMMS – all without monthly cellular fees or complex IT infrastructure.

Heavy equipment hour meter, Lora-Enabled Runtime Meter

Track Your Heavy Equipment Runtime Without Monthly Fees

📡

Ultra Long-Range Wireless Coverage

Monitor equipment across your entire facility – up to several kilometers in open areas – without WiFi infrastructure or cellular connectivity.

🏗️

Perfect for Heavy Equipment

Ideal for hoists, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, construction equipment and forklifts that move throughout your facility.

🔄

Centralized Multi-Equipment Monitoring

Track up to 100 pieces of equipment from a single server. Scale as your business grows without additional infrastructure.

⚙️

Dual Hour Meter Tracking

The client comes with 2 meters that you can track uptime and downtime independently on each equipment unit. Or monitor both runtime and idle hours separately for complete equipment utilization analysis.

🔌

Pre-Configured Plug-and-Play

Each client arrives pre-wired and pre-configured. Simply mount, connect power, and start tracking – no programming required.

📊

Automated Data Collection

Server collects data automatically. Integrate with your CMMS via database export, JSON API, or manual CSV download.

How the iTrixx-LHM System Works

The system consists of wireless client units installed on each piece of equipment and a central server that collects data from all clients via long-range LoRa wireless communication.

Simple 3-Step Deployment

Step 1: Install Client Units

Mount the weatherproof enclosure on each piece of equipment at the highest practical location with antenna away from metal objects

Step 2: Deploy Server

Install the server in your maintenance office at a central, elevated location. Connect Power-over-Ethernet cable to your network switch.

Step 3: Configure via Web

Access the web interface, add each device with its 2-digit ID, and assign a name. The server immediately begins collecting data.

Perfect for Your Equipment

The iTrixx-LHM was specifically designed for applications where traditional WiFi hour meters fall short. While our WiFi models are excellent for equipment in network-connected environments, the LoRa-enabled system is the superior solution for large open environments such as the ports, construction sites or warehouses.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pieces of equipment can one server monitor?

The server can monitor up to 100 client devices using the 2-digit address system (00-99). For most industrial applications, this capacity is sufficient to cover an entire facility's equipment fleet.

What is the actual transmission range?

Range depends on building construction and obstructions. Typical performance:

  • Open outdoor areas: 3-5 kilometers
  • Industrial facilities: 1-3 kilometers
  • Through concrete/multiple floors: 500-2000 meters
Can this integrate with our CMMS software?

Yes. The server provides JSON API endpoint, automatic database export to PostgreSQL/MySQL, and manual CSV export for seamless integration with maintenance management systems.

What happens if equipment moves out of range?

Client units store runtime data locally and continue tracking. When equipment returns within range, all accumulated data transmits automatically – no data loss occurs.

Do I need IT department involvement?

Minimal IT involvement needed. Client units operate independently – no WiFi configuration required. Only the server connects to your network via PoE Ethernet cable.
