Overview
The iTrixx-WFMN-ADi is a self-contained wireless hour meter with built-in MQTT, developed to log runtime on industrial equipment — especially mobile equipment — for preventive maintenance. Housed in an IP66/67 polycarbonate enclosure and connected over WiFi, it comes with 2 digital inputs, 2 relay outputs, 2 analog inputs, and an impact sensor, so beyond hours you can also monitor impact, temperature, and voltage. It’s a simple, reliable, and affordable machine hour meter for manufacturing, equipment rental, airports, and golf courses that need to collect equipment data without visiting each machine or paying monthly fees. For teams that want the numbers in their own system, readings transfer via MQTT, UDP, or JSON — so this network hour meter drops right into an existing CMMS or IoT platform.
How It Works
- Mount the meter on or near your equipment and choose how it counts: by power input (wire it to the same power source as the equipment — when it’s powered, it’s counting), by digital/analog input (a 5–24VDC sensor or a current sensor detects the on/off state), or by relay output (the meter follows a relay).
- Connect the meter to your network — Ethernet by cable, or WiFi with a quick browser/Telnet setup.
- Install the free HourCollector desktop or mobile app. The meter reports its runtime automatically and the app saves it to a CSV file for history and reporting.
- Set scheduled email reports and maintenance alerts — you’ll get a notification or an audible/visual alert when a machine is due for service.
