Netbell™ Network Bell Controller, A Web-based Timed Alert Controller Via Internet of Things Technology

A compact, self-contained system provides an embedded, web page scheduling software for factories to build a fully automated timed alert system

To control your existing time clock bell system, we are offering multiple options of Netbell Network Bell Controllers, Netbell-2, Netbell-4 and Netbell-8, which can work with most of the current systems on the market from low voltage to line voltage. Our Network Bell Controller is built on Linortek existing TCP/IP product platform with a built in web server and special software designed for scheduling a factory or school bell system. With Netbell Network Bell Controller, you can access, control and schedule bells / buzzers or any timed signal equipment individually over a network or the Internet, no additional software or designated computer required. The built-in web interface provides quick access to setup and manage your bells / buzzers or any other signaling devices. The Netbell Network Bell Controller is an ideal solution for schools, factories to upgrade their old fashion bell system to a fully automated web-based timed alert system for signaling class changes, shift rotations, breaks and any other timed signal applications.

The Netbell product comes with a built-in real time clock with NTP automatic Internet time setting and gets its time from a standard internet NTP time server. It looks for time every 10 minutes from NTP server by default (users changeable), which maintains the time between requests with a Real Time Clock (RTC) within the main CPU. There is also a back-up RTC with battery power to maintain time during power interruptions or if not connected to the internet.

For those who wish to forego networking the Netbell, it is also able to function as a stand-alone device. Connecting the unit to a PC, upload the bell schedules, then remove, and it will function as scheduled. Whether stand-alone or networked, users can easily import/export their existing bell schedules using a simple text format.

If you are looking for a complete timed alert solution, you can check Netbell – Bell System.

In areas of high ambient noise levels needed, you can check Netbell – Buzzer System.

The Netbell™ product can be used with a PA system as long as you use a tone generator or there is a tone generator built into the current system and it has a way to connect the Netbell™ to activated it. The relays on the Netbell™ product can be setup to actually activate different tones on a tone generator. If you were looking to have multiple tones then you would use the additional relays. For example, a Netbell™-2 can be used to activate two tones, Netbell™-4 for 4 tones, etc. Wiring each one of the relays to a different tone. The relays just act as a dry contact.

For anyone who has separate areas or multiple buildings where running additional wiring is not an option, but the locations are connected by a network, you can use the remote function to build a networked bell system without the need of hard-wiring to a central control station, to ring multiple bells or horns on multiple locations from one simple web interface.
