Manufacturing IoT Solutions That Put Your Data on the Floor

VidiMax is the visual layer of Linortek’s IoT solutions for manufacturing. Pair it with iTrixx equipment monitoring, Ethernet I/O controllers, and Netbell employee communication systems to collect information, automate responses, and keep your production floor informed.

Your Manufacturing Dashboard on Every Screen

You already have dashboards – Power BI reports and other web dashboards. Getting them onto the floor usually means a PC or thin client behind every TV, each one logged in and each one needing Windows updates.

VidiMax replaces that with one VidiMax-S server in your server room and a small VidiMax-DTU behind each screen, up to 250 screens on your existing network. Each screen’s normal view can be a web page that includes your dashboard. When a machine signal, an operator button or a National Weather Service alert comes in, the alert takes over the screen for a set time, then your dashboard comes back.

It all runs on-premise, so nothing leaves the building.

Applications

Manufacturing Visibility on the Production Floor

VidiMax is an on-premise system for displaying live operational information throughout a facility. It takes data from the systems and equipment you already use and turns it into clear, easy-to-read screens for the production floor. You can use existing TVs and monitors, choose what each screen shows, and add more displays as your needs grow.

Routine Employee Communication

Pair VidiMax with Netbell employee communication systems to combine visual and audible announcements. Safety reminders, countdown/count-up timers, shift changes, and break-time alerts can be scheduled automatically.

Safety & Weather Alerts

Display a clear emergency message when something important happens. VidiMax can also show National Weather Service alerts automatically, with warnings and evacuation instructions on designated screens. See how VidiMax alerts work across your facility.

Manufacturing IoT Solutions - digital addon system

Digital Andon System for Operator Calls

An operator should not have to leave the workstation to find a supervisor or ask for assistance. A push button or your machine can send a request to the right andon display for supervisor, maintenance, material, or other support.

Production Display and Status Boards

Display production targets, actual output, line status, cycle time, and other information your team watches during the day. Instead of waiting for a report or checking a separate system, the information is visible on the floor.

Keep Cycle Time Visible

Put a large countdown timer at each bay or station so operators and supervisors can see how much time is left. Color changes can make it easy to spot a station that is getting close to its limit or falling behind.

Show Machine Status and Condition

Using iTrixx hour meters and eIO controllers, VidiMax can display information such as runtime, maintenance status, temperature, vibration, current, RPM, and equipment status. This gives production and maintenance teams another way to see when a machine needs attention.

How VidiMax works

How VidiMax Works With Your Plant Data

You do not need to change anything in your facility to start using VidiMax. The system is designed to take information from the sources you already have, organize it, and send it to the screens where it is useful.

1

Connect Your Data

VidiMax can work with information from machines and sensors, PLC signals and operator push buttons (through eIO digital inputs), National Weather Service alerts, web dashboards, and business systems that can send data by API or webhook. Start with the data you need now. You can add other sources later.

2

Manage It From One Server

Once the data is available, you decide how it should be used. Build display templates, set rules, define alerts, and choose which screens should receive each type of information. When something needs to be heard as well as seen, VidiMax can trigger your PA, bells or buzzers through Netbell communication system.

3

Inform the Right Screens

Each screen has its own address, so content can go to one screen, a group, or all of them. A production overview can go on a large screen for the whole department. A station can have its own countdown. Maintenance can see machine information. Safety messages can be sent to many screens at the same time.

Improve Your Operations

Operators get help without leaving the station, machine problems show up where people can act on them, and the dashboards you already pay for reach the floor. Start with one line and add screens as you go

Our products

What sits behind the screens

VidiMax is the visual layer. It can receive information from Linortek devices as well as third-party systems, bringing operational data together and putting it on the screens where your team needs it.

One server drives up to 250 displays across your facility, on your own local network.

Connects the HDMI screens you already own to VidiMax. One DTU is used for each display.

Track equipment runtime and operating status and feed the data directly to VidiMax for production and maintenance displays.

Connect sensors to Linortek eIO controller for machine vibration, temperature, current, and more – the readings that turn a screen into a live status board.

Pair VidiMax with Netbell paging system or connect the Netbell-NTG tone generator to your existing paging system, so important messages and alerts are heard on speakers as well as seen.

Network & Installation

Designed to Fit Your Facility Network

VidiMax runs on-site and distributes information over the facility network. Depending on your IT requirements, VidiMax can be installed in several ways.

Use your existing network

Connect the VidiMax Server and DTUs to your existing LAN. This is the simplest option when PoE network connections are already available and the devices can share the same network.

Keep the displays on a separate network

Connect the VidiMax Server to your facility LAN for browser-based management while using its second network interface for a dedicated display network. The setup guide describes this as the most common configuration for larger installations.

Run VidiMax as a standalone system

If you don’t want VidiMax connected to your facility network, it can operate on its own network. The server provides network services for the Display Terminal Units and other connected Linortek devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

VidiMax shows machine status as it happens and turns alarms into alerts people see. Runtime comes from iTrixx hour meters, sensor readings like temperature, vibration and current from eIO controllers, and PLC signals through digital inputs. When a condition is met, an alert takes over the screens you choose – and with Netbell, it sounds on the PA too. VidiMax is the display and alert layer, not analytics software.

Yes. VidiMax runs on the network you already have, or on its own display network through the server’s second port, and it uses the TVs already on your walls. Each screen gets a small VidiMax-DTU instead of a PC, so there’s no Windows machine behind each TV to keep updated. Everything stays on-premise, which is usually what gets it approved in plants where outside connections are hard to clear.

No. VidiMax uses a central server to manage the system. Each remote screen uses a compact Display Terminal Unit rather than a dedicated PC. The DTU connects to the network through Ethernet/PoE and to the screen through HDMI.

Yes. VidiMax doesn’t replace the systems you already run – it puts what they already show onto the floor’s screens. If a system can send data by API or webhook, we work with your team to pull work orders and machine or job status onto the screens. If it has a web dashboard, a screen can show that page too, when the system allows it.

Yes. VidiMax has a deployment option in which one server interface connects to the facility LAN for administration while the second interface supports a dedicated network for Display Terminal Units and Linortek devices. It can also operate completely standalone if connection to the facility network is not desired.

Yes. Start with one VidiMax-S server and a few screens, then add more as you go – one server handles up to 250. There are no per-screen fees, and no PC to buy for each TV. Our online builder shows your exact price. Linortek sells the equipment rather than installation services: your team or your integrator connects it, and our US-based support helps by phone.

An operator presses a button at the station, or the machine sends a signal, and the request for a supervisor, maintenance or material shows up on the right screen. Nobody has to leave the workstation to find help. Wire each station’s button to an input on an eIO-RTU controller, and the screen shows which station is asking. Add a Netbell-NTG on your existing PA if the request should be heard too.

Yes. VidiMax Tasks use IF/THEN rules. An event – such as a scheduled time, a device condition, or a qualifying National Weather Service alert – can automatically trigger an action. Tasks can run continuously without someone manually changing the displays.

Usually both. Keep the dashboards your team already built, like Power BI reports or other web dashboards – a screen can show them when the source system allows its pages to be embedded. Some systems don’t, so we check yours first. Use VidiMax’s own displays for what dashboards don’t do well: station countdowns, andon calls, live device readings, and alerts that take over the screen and then hand it back.
