The WiFi Hour Meter Software

Once you install the iTrixx on your machine and connect it to your WiFi network, it will get an IP address automatically from your router, you can use any computer on the same network for initial setup using Telnet to quickly discover equipment uptime and usage data from the the HourCollector desktop app, or send data reports via email at the frequency you prefer.

There are two meter counters built-in on the software with independent trigger. You can use one for uptime, one for downtime, or or one for each machine of your choice. With the simple-to-use commands, you can easily create tasks, reports and alerts from Telnet on your PC or download a TCP Telnet app from the app store on your phone to configure the device from any mobile devices.

For anyone who needs to incorporate the hour readings into their own management database you can transfer the data automatically using a UDP broadcast or directly query the JSON output to manage equipment across single or multiple locations.

MQTT is a simple messaging protocol, designed for constrained devices with low-bandwidth. So, it’s the perfect solution for Internet of Things applications. MQTT allows you to send commands to control outputs, read and publish data from sensor nodes and much more. The new development provides a standard method of communication for iTrixx to reliably communicate data across networks with any IoT platform and applications, it makes it really easy to establish a communication between iTrixx and other devices, enables iTrixx become a standard product in IIoT arena for data acquisition.
